Bonus: Both of these slime recipes are created with products developed for people with sensitive skin. You see, members of our family, including my youngest, suffer from skin allergies and eczema. I’ve found that other types of slime my daughter has played with have caused reactions. This one did not!

*If your child suffers from serious skin allergies, please consult a doctor and use your best judgment before trying these recipes. We can only share with you our experience and cannot guarantee the reaction your child may have.

I have to admit, I had a lot more fun making slime than I thought I would. Such a fun activity with the kids that doesn’t involve the computer or a gadget, right?

Here are more tips from us to you on getting that perfect slime you are looking for:

  • Use warm water, it helps the ingredients come together better.
  • Don't use very much food coloring. Just a little will give it a tint without staining your hands.
  • Do not combine the ingredients out of order, especially the saline solution.
  • To keep the slime fresh, store in an air-tight plastic container when not in use.
  • Feel free to experiment with different amounts.
  • There will be variations in the outcome of the slime based on the specific products you use.
